S’busiso Xulu is the serial entrepreneur with extensive expertise in risk management, cybersecurity, business intelligence, and crime research. He dedicated 26 years to improve cybersecurity in South Africa. He was instrumental in high-profile cyber forensics investigations. He was involved in crime projects such as the EU/SAPS Program.

Carl Heinz Uys’s is on a mission to safeguard Cyber Space in South Africa. Carl is an experienced security practitioner for over 13 years and has championed cyber-security in both public and private sectors. Gavin John McLachlan

Gavin John McLachlan is a practicing attorney since 1981 and a partner at Randles Attorneys. He works tirelessly in the areas of cyber-law and cybersecurity. He was involved in the drafting of the POPI Act, the Cybercrime and Cybersecurity Bill, and the eDeeds Registries Amendment Bill.

Gavin was the chair of the e-law & IT committees of the Law Society of South Africa, and was vice president at the KwaZulu-Natal Law Society. He is a trustee of the Democratic Governance and Rights Unit at the University of Cape Town, and a member of the Internet Governance Workgroup at the Department of Posts and Telecommunications.
